1. Restoring the Village (Cont.)

GOD:

Just enough time to allow for their redemption followed by 111 days of atonement, leading to Your glorious second coming.

     JESUS:

Forgive me, Holy Father, but do they need any more time? They have their fingers ready to launch atomic bombs while irking each other for annihilation!

I’m afraid it might be too late by the time I arrive!

There are innocent adults and children dying in droves in their grown-up mess!

     GOD:

I know, My Son, and understand Your concerns and urgency, but I want to give them one last chance for redemption, as to right their wrong and redemption should not take long.

     JESUS:

You’re not giving up on them, are You, Holy Father?

GOD:

They’re My children. I can’t ever give up on them.

JESUS:

You are the all-powerful and the merciful, Holy Father.

GOD:

Thank you, My son. You did a splendid job during Your first visit, as it’s the direct result of You standing up against tyranny and injustice that has helped the villagers to rise over and over and against those who enslaved them in one form or another, throughout their 2,000 years. And I’m confident that they will rise to right the wrong again and again! It’s the villagers that I have the most confidence in doing the right thing.

GOD:

Patience, My son. I have a plan, and to your surprise on that glorious day you will returning accompanied with two very special and dear friends that will help You to further bring back honor, trust, peace, unity, care and love to the whole village – the world - and the villagers who are in dire times and in need of salvation.

(1)

Tarek al-Tayeb Mohamed Bouazizi (29 March 1984 – 4 January 2011; Arabic: محمد البوعزيزي‎) was a Tunisian street vendor who set himself on fire on 17 December 2010, in protest of the confiscation of his wares and the harassment and humiliation that he reported was inflicted on him by a municipal official and her aides. His act became a catalyst for the Tunisian Revolution[2] and the wider Arab Spring, inciting demonstrations and riots throughout Tunisia in protest of social and political issues in the country. The public's anger and violence intensified following Bouazizi's death, leading then-President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali to step down on 14 January 2011, after 23 years in power.
