19. State of Interest Rates and Debt

GOD:

How could the church and the elected “government of the people, by the people, for the people,” allow such outrageous interest rates charged on the poor villagers’ debt – a debt that has been forced upon them, again due to slavery wages and income inequality? Man lives on hope and love! Hope and love for a better tomorrow, a better year, a better harvest, a better job, a better life, as without it, he has no reason to live. It is that hope and the immediate need for food and shelter, especially with hungry mouths to feed, that he has been exploited with so-called “easy credit” again, fueled by greed and by the wrong and shortsighted government economic policies, perhaps, drafted and pushed through their legislators by the same 1% and/or just to get elected or reelected. A corrupt system that feeds on itself until it implodes morally, financially, and sadly, literally with the nuclear war!

How can the credit card companies, the pawn shops, and the short term lenders justify charging 35% or in some cases upward of 300% or more interest when the interest rate they pay on the villagers’ meager savings is less than 1% even if that? The same bank that charges the villagers 35% interest is borrowing money from their Federal Reserve – the villagers – at 0% interest. How can that be a sound financial foundation for longevity of the village, as it is now evident by their financial crises that had gripped the world and pushing it over the cliff?

Now the swindlers under not so watchful eyes of so called the government of the people, by the people, for the people, were able to settle their case for overcharging the merchants – in turn the villagers – extra fees, but with a bonus, allowing the merchants to add a surcharge for using their credit card, which means another tax on the 99% and the poorest as the 1% have all the cash and are most likely exempt from the surcharge.

“A village cannot be a hive of thieves and swindlers.”

JESUS:

That is why I went to the temple(1) and threw out the money changers to make exactly the same point. As it is evil to milk the poor for every meager earning they have. That is why it’s necessary for me to go back and bring the church and its hierarchy in line with Your wishes, and in turn save the village and humanity before it is too late.

The "Cleansing of the Temple" refers to the narrative of Jesus and the money changers and occurs in all four canonical gospels of the New Testament. In this episode Jesus and his disciples travel to Jerusalem for Passover, where he expels the money changers from the Temple, accusing them of turning the Temple into a den of thieves through their commercial activities.[1][2] Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleansing_of_the_Temple
